Aventis Systems, Inc. Acquires LongShot Technology

Acquisition Includes Inventory, Talent, and Customer Base

Atlanta, GA — May 21, 2014 –– Aventis Systems, Inc., a leading provider of technology equipment and services, announced it has acquired LongShot Technology, a Georgia-based computer hardware company. LongShot Technology was a Dell equipment provider focused on refurbished servers, storage arrays, and desktops. Their primary markets included IT consultants and small businesses throughout the Southeast, both of which are key audiences for Aventis Systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, Aventis Systems acquired all of LongShot Technology’s inventory, as well as staff. The deal included approximately $40 thousand in inventory, including Dell servers, storage arrays, laptops, and primary components such as hard drives, processors, and memory. The acquisition will expand Aventis Systems’ local presence, national customer base, and accelerate its growth in the technology marketplace. LongShot Technology recorded $700 thousand in sales last year and $1 million in sales in 2012. Aventis Systems purchased the company for an undisclosed amount.
