Powerful enough to run all your professional applications, these high-end workstations feature top-of-the-line Intel® processors and an innovative design that can increase your productivity and enhance your overall work capabilities.

But with all the customizable models to choose from, how do you know which workstation is best for you? Let’s look at how three of the most popular models compare.

The Dell Precision T7810 Workstation
This workstation is top in its class for performance, especially for business users with graphic- and resource-heavy hardware requirements.

The Dell Precision T7810 Workstation is up to 34% quieter than its predecessors but still delivers higher processing power and more storage. The Dell T7810 also has up to 45 MB of CPU cache, and upgrades are available up to 18 cores.

This workstation runs on the latest operating system and features best-in-class endpoint security, including comprehensive encryption, advanced authentication and malware protection.

With storage up to 8 TB in either SATA or Solid State Drive (SSD) and memory up to 256 GB across 8 DIMM slots, the Dell T7810 is an enterprise solution ideal for small to mid-sized businesses and IT professionals. It is available in Basic, Advanced and Superior configurations.

The Dell Precision T7610 Workstation
The Dell Precision T7610 Workstation is a fully customizable and capable mid-range workstation that can meet the needs of the most demanding workflows.

This high-end, sturdy workstation is well thought out, expertly designed and reasonably priced. It’s also very large, with a case that measures 16.95 x 8.5 x 20.67 inches and a weight of almost 31 pounds.

The Dell Precision T7610 can house up to two high performance Intel Xeon processors — the E5-2600 v2 family of processors — with up to 12 cores per processor, for a total of 24. The fast memory can handle huge data sets with ease with up to 512 GB of 1866 MHz ECC memory across 16 DIMM slots (eight per processor).

The storage capacity in this workstation is flexible, offering expandability with front-accessible space for four 3.5-inch drives or eight 2.5-inch drives and high performance SATA, SAS, SSD and RAID storage options. The Intel CAS-W storage option enables performance that is near SSD speeds at a lower cost than a full SSD storage solution. It is also available in Basic, Advanced and Superior configurations and runs on the Windows 7 Professional operating system.

The Dell Precision T5600 Workstation
The Dell Precision T5600 Workstation is a powerful, reliable dual-socket workstation in a compact package with a clutter-free interior that provides easy access to components and a top tray for external drive or camera storage.

This workstation can handle heavy workloads and is a very efficient machine for most jobs, particularly scientific analysis, engineering and complex 3D modeling. You can choose from the Basic, Advanced or Superior configurations or completely customize your own. Like the others, it also uses the latest operating system.

The Dell T5600 supports the Intel Xeon E5-2600 family of processors for up to 2.9 GHz eight-core 20 MB processing power. This workstation supports up to 128 GB of memory across eight DIMM slots.
