The PowerVault MD3000i is a high-performance iSCSI SAN designed to deliver storage consolidation and data management capabilities in an easy-to-use, cost-effective solution. The MD3000i can consolidate up to sixteen (16) fully redundant servers, expanding to support up to 90TB of data, which is perfect for virtualization where shared storage is required to enable VM mobility, a key benefit of virtual environments. The MD3000i iSCSI SAN delivers a seamless suite of intuitive task-based management capabilities. The Modular Disk Storage Manager can help automatically configure the system for optimal performance and availability. The MD3000i leverages existing IP networks and offers small and medium businesses an easy to use iSCSI SAN without the need for extensive training or new expensive infrastructures.

    • Storage Controllers: Each controller includes 512MB of battery-backed-up cache. Dual controller (High Availability) model features dual-active/active controllers to provide redundant enclosure management. Battery-backed-up cache provides up to 72 hours of data protection
    • RAID Levels: RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 supported; Up to 256 virtual disks; up to 30 physical disks per group
