Aventis Systems^® Supports Atlanta Nonprofit with Updated IT Hardware

ATLANTA- August 7, 2014 - Aventis Systems, Inc., a leading provider of new and refurbished technology equipment, assisted TechBridge and Generation Mortgage Company by providing 21 Dell desktop computers for their support of Senior Connections, an Atlanta-based nonprofit with a mission to serve seniors. The organization received the funds to purchase the computers thanks to a donation from Computer Aid, Inc., and Senior Connections was delighted to refresh its IT equipment affordably by using Aventis Systems’ quality computer hardware. The desktop computers will increase the effectiveness of the Senior Connections team as it provides services that allow seniors to live independently in their own homes.

With the help of TechBridge’s Adopt-a-Nonprofit program, a robust team of Atlanta-based CIOs and company leaders are helping to update Senior Connections’ technology strategy and infrastructure. The hardware refresh will help continue the long-term strategy to improve Senior Connections’ IT hardware and software capabilities for years to come.

During the event, Furtado briefly discussed the effect of TechBridge's Adopt-a-Nonprofit program on the organization and recognized how members of Atlanta's tech community are making significant contributions to the local community.
